Oboke and Iya Area

Iya is one of three least explored areas in Japan.
The area includes the Iya Vine Bridge and Biwa Waterfall, where the legend of the Heike (also known as Taira Clan) is handed down. Oboke and Koboke, both of which are designated as natural monuments and scenic spots in Japan, are also close by. Visitors can enjoy seeing the spectacular spot Hinoji Keikoku (a valley) and a uniquely placed Peeing Boy statue as well.
