Mimakara
A spicy hot condiment made from Mimakara chili peppers and flavoured with sesame oil, soy sauce and dried bonito flakes.
The Mimakara hot pepper, a speciality of Mima City, has been cultivated since ancient times, and is believed to be lucky for its high sugar content and tasty pungency. The chilis are handcut and produced with care to preserve the natural flavours of the crop.
