Miyoshi Nagayoshi Samurai Parade Festival【Early November】

The “Sengoku Tenkabito Miyoshi Nagayoshi Samurai Parade Festival” is held in Mino Town on Sat. and Sun. in early November.
Miyoshi Nagayoshi was a samurai in the Warring States period in the late Muromachi period (1336-1573). He gained control of the entire Kinai region at the time and took real power in the Shogunate. Recently, Miyoshi Nagayoshi has been the focus of much attention from various perspectives as the pioneer of the Warring States period, ahead of Nobunaga Oda and Hideyoshi Toyotomi.
This event is held annually in Mino-cho, the birthplace of Nagayoshi Miyoshi.
On the day of the event, in addition to samurai parades, gun demonstrations, and other events related to Miyoshi Nagayoshi and the Warring States period, there will be dance performances, food stalls, and other local festive fun.
