Kayaking on the Yoshino River (Half-day guided tour)

The Yoshino River is known for its wide river banks and abundant water throughout the year, as well as its top-level maximum flow in Japan. After orientation, go down the river on a stable tandem kayak. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the way and paddle through

Half-day kayaking tour, an ideal choice to experience Shikoku.

On a stable tandem kayak uploaded with a camping coffee maker, we go down the river for about 4 km (2.5 ml). Experience wilderness and changing sceneries on the water. You may want to bring your favorite snacks and camping gear, if you have any, as we’ll stop for a picnic on a pleasant river bank on the way.

Novice paddlers are welcome as our route has no dangerous spot.

We have rental equipments including sandals, rain jackets and water-proof bags for free.

This tour is conducted from around March to December. The section of river we will paddle is near Roadside Station Sadamitsu Yuyukan in Tsurugi town.

by train: JR Sadamitsu station is the nearest. Pick-up service is available.

by express bus: Mima IC is the nearest. Pick-up service is available.

For guests visiting Shikoku by air:

The nearest airport is Takamatsu Airport. You can rent a car at the airport. If you do not drive, fly to Tokushima Airport. Tokushima Airport is more distant, but you can take a bus and a train to the nearest station (JR Sadamitsu station).
