Anabuki River Slow Cycling Tour 【Mima City, Anabuki】

Ride a stylish British-made folding bike, the “Brompton,” and enjoy a relaxing course along the Anabuki River, celebrated as the clearest stream in Japan.

The Anabuki River lives up to its reputation as Japan’s clearest stream. While many people gather at campgrounds downstream in summer, our Brompton cycling route begins upstream, where you can enjoy the river’s quiet and pristine charm. Along the way, we’ll stop at mystical local shrines, cross submersible bridges, and even walk down to the riverbank to play by the water—your guide will tailor stops to match the mood of the day.

Back in Anabuki town, we’ll take a break at a stylish café serving sweets and tea made with local ingredients, the perfect way to unwind. In summer, you may also get the chance to play in hidden swimming spots known only to locals! Don’t worry if you get completely soaked—your clothes will dry as you pedal your way back.
