Iya Vine Bridge Ticket + Special Gibier Lunch [Oboke Iya, Tokushima]

Iya Vine Bridge ticket for 500 yen (adults), 320 yen (elementary students). This ticket allows you to cross the Vine Bridge, a famous scenic spot in Tokushima, and try a special gibier lunch at Café & Gibier.

Lunch times for booking:

11:00, 12:00, 13:00 or 14:00.

* There is no designated time for Iya Vine Bridge. Please arrive during business hours.

Café & Gibier

This café is located at Oboke Roadside Station, where you can try dishes made from the bounty of Miyoshi’s mountains, “Gibier” (deer and wild boar meat). The lunch and drink set comes at a great price, and includes a choice of three burgers, such as the popular ‘Gibier Cheeseburger’. A kids’ burger set with soft-serve ice cream is also available.

The Iya Vine Bridge

The Iya Vine Bridge in the mountains of Nishi-Iya Valley, Miyoshi City, is known as one of the three most mysterious bridges in Japan. The bridge is made of kiwi vines, weighing approximately 5 tonnes, and the vines are replaced every three years. Today, the area around the bridge is maintained to accommodate large buses and cars, but in the past, it was a “hidden valley” that could only be reached by traversing through the harsh mountains and gorges. Crossing the vine bridge is a thrilling experience with each swaying step!
