Heike Yashiki Folk Museum Online Tickets [Iya, Tokushima] 【Day-of Reservation Available】

Adults 500 yen, primary schools students 300 yen. This ticket allows you enter the Heike Yashiki Folk Museum, which is designated as an Important Tangible Cultural Property by Miyoshi City.

Heike Yashiki Folk Museum.

The Heike Yashiki Folk Museum, designated as an Important Tangible Cultural Property of Miyoshi City, is the residence of the descendants of Horikawa Daiki, the emperor Antoku’s official physician. Horikawa Daiki entered the mountains with his family at the time of the fall of the Heike clan and served as a doctor and priest in Iya, a region rich in medicinal herbs.

The museum is located in the nature-rich Nishi-Iya mountain village of Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture, where the seasons are varied and there are old trees in the garden that have stood the test of time. Relax in nature and enjoy the history surrounding you.
