Wool Sauna Hat Making Experience (Miyoshi/Shimonoro Permanent)
Wear a sauna hat to protect your hair and prevent yourself catching a chill! Locals who use sauna hats swear by their effectiveness. ♪
Making this wool hat may look easy, but getting the most effective shape can be tricky, but even beginners can tackle this workshop! Start the workshop at 1:00 to 2:00 so you can use your hat in the sauna right away. If you’re interested in adding patterns, etc, the activity may take two to three hours.
Fees per person
Sauna hat making: 6,130 yen
*If you wish to use the sauna as well, please make an additional reservation.
*If you wish to enter the sauna wearing the hat, we recommend that you start making the sauna hat between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
Depending on the number of participants, it may take up to 3 hours if you want to add a pattern after the final molding, or up to 2 hours if you want to make the base shape.
Options
Lunch: 1,650 yen
［Weekdays] A friendly set meal at Satoyama no Yochien and Free School. The menu will be announced at the beginning of the month.
［Weekends] Spiced curry with 5 side dishes. Both include a detox drink (craft cola, craft ginger ale, non-alcoholic mojito, or house far-infrared roasted coffee).

Cab pick-up service (round trip)
Pick-up service is available from Awa Ikeda Station.

It takes about 20 minutes to Shimonoro Permanent. We will pick you up in front of the station at your requested time.
