Beginners welcome! ♪ River Kayaking Experience at Lake Ikeda, Miyoshi City 【Day before reservation available】

Enjoy river kayaking on Lake Ikeda. The still waters at the Ikeda Dam lake are safe even for beginners! Lessons will be provided for each level.

Enjoy kayaking lessons, adjusted for your level of experience! Lake Ikeda is a still-water lake created by the Ikeda Dam in the middle reaches of the Yoshino River. You’ll be guided by an expert, who has experience winning kayaking competitions, and will give you a detailed lecture on how to hold, ride, and paddle the boat.

Lake Ikeda is a sacred place for water sports, and also where the Wakeboard World Championships were held in 2018. Whether you are new to river kayaking or have experience, lessons are available for all levels, so please feel free to join us!

 

Fees

12,000 yen/person

*Conditions for participation: Age 13 or older  and in good health.

*Please contact us if the number of participants is more than 4 people.

 

Itinerary

9:00AM Meet at Guest House & Canoe Shop Cosmos

9:00AM-9:30AM Registration and change of clothes

9:30AM-10:00AM Move to Ikeda Waterfront Park (ride in owner Kinoshita’s car)

10:00AM-11:00AM Instruction and experience

11:00AM-11:30AM Move to Guesthouse & Canoe Shop Cosmos (in owner Kinoshita’s car)

11:30AM-12:00AM Change clothes and leave
