Japanese Kimono & Matcha Tea Experience at Udatsu Street ❀ Wakimachi, Mima

Immerse yourself in Japanese history and culture! Don a kimono of your choice and try your hand at making matcha tea to enjoy with Japanese sweets. Afterwards, take a stroll around the beautiful and historic Udatsu Townscape.

The streets of Wakimachi’s Udatsu Townscape were historically a place where indigo merchants gathered in the Edo period, and its beautiful traditional buildings remain, preserved to enjoy for generations to come. Savoring Japanese tea and walking these streets in a kimono will make you feel as though you truly have slipped back in time!
