Sake Brewing Experience at Historic Miyoshikiku Brewery

Join a guided sake brewery tour at Miyoshikiku, try simple brewing steps, enjoy tastings, and take home a sake bottle with a special tour label you apply yourself.

At the historic Miyoshikiku Sake Brewery, founded in 1896, you can explore the fascinating world of sake brewing through guided tours and hands-on experiences.

This small yet internationally recognized brewery exports its sake to the U.S., Taiwan, China, Singapore, Australia, and Mexico, and operates year-round. Depending on the season and time of visit, participants can observe and experience various brewing processes—such as steaming rice, adding koji mold, fermentation, sake pressing, or mixing moromi mash.

If your visit coincides with the pressing day, you might even get to sample freshly pressed sake!
After the brewery tour, enjoy a sake tasting session featuring a variety of Miyoshikiku sakes. Then, place a special tour label on a Miyoshikiku sake bottle to take home as your souvenir.

Discover the depth and wonder of Japan’s traditional sake-making through this immersive experience.
