Special Vegan Lunch Plan: Enjoy Fresh Seasonal Vegetables from Nishi-Awa【Day-before reservations accepted】
This special lunch plan offers a full vegan menu using fresh local vegetables grown on the steep mountain slopes in Nishi-Awa (Western Tokushima). In addition to the vegan menu, you can also order decaf coffee, pasta, doria, etc. on site.

1. Root Vegetable Bolognese with seasonal vegetable salad and homemade focaccia
This meatless bolognese is packed with umami flavours, using onions, shiitake mushrooms, celery, carrots, soybeans, burdock root, and beetroot.
2. Soy Meat Tsukune & Avocado Rice Bowl and seasonal vegetable salad
Soybean meatball tsukune with potatoes. The rich flavours of the potatoes and avocado blend with accents of cumin and sesame, making for a satisfying meal.

Try delicious vegan dishes prepared using vegetables grown by the local Taguchi Farm, who cultivate crops with care using World Agricultural Heritage and sloping land farming methods. Choose from two vegan options: “Root Vegetable Bolognese” or “Soy Meatballs & Avocado Rice Bowl”. A variety of non-vegan menu items are also available, such as doria and pasta. In addition, the cafe sells beautiful handmade geta sandals that you can try out to get a feel for the traditional crafts of Nishi-Awa.
